Substitute Karma

So my last blog post was about how I was sick and the various adventures associated with that, one of those was that I took two days off of school. Though I do not regret taking this time off, today was a karma filled day and any remorse I felt about inconveniencing people is long gone.

Tuesdays are normally very long days for me; I teach five classes throughout the day between 8am and 3pm. Long days, but manageable. Today I was assigned three substitution classes, bringing my grand total of classes to eight AKA every period of the day.

Needless to say I am very tired. However, it was a good day. The students were very agreeable for the most part, and lunch was really good too. Good day, but a long day.

I am looking forward to this weekend. We're traveling to Bratislava to celebrate Thanksgiving with the other American teachers. It will be great to see everyone and to have some time together!

Blessings,
Colleen
