This is just going to be a quick little post about how surprised I am that tomorrow brings on the month of February. I am honestly surprised that January has passed by so quickly. Though it has been both figuratively and literally one of the darkest months of my time here, it has passed me by with accelerated speed. I find a strange comfort in this. Time, though it may seem to go faster or slower at particular moments, is always the same. Twenty minutes spent with awful, grumpy, complaining children, is as long as twenty minutes spent laughing with Sarah about something stupid. Time is time, period. I just hope and pray that even in my dark hours I remember that time is still a gift and I ought to savor every moment of it.
